Since you can’t get to Bhutan directly, we decided to make a short stop in Delhi and Agra. Two days are far from enough to even get a glimpse of these incredible places, so here are just some quick pictures to give you an idea of our first impressions. It was a bit weird for us to get a VIP treatment (actually it helps to be white in India) at the Taj Mahal: The people there ‘force’ you to skip lines, while the natives have to queue for hours to get into the Taj Mahal. There were a lot of school classes, and Esther always had a bunch of girls having a fit of the giggles seeing a blond woman for the first time in their life (see next posts).
